Grounds and gardens
The extensive University grounds, which guests are free to enjoy, include formal gardens, woodland, grassed areas, hay meadows, shrub beds, ponds, "the woodland trail", and the Canterbury Labyrinth.
Created from Yorkstone and grass, the Canterbury Labyrinth is a beautiful work of art of mediaeval design with a wonderful view of the city. To our knowledge this is the first Labyrinth to be built at an English university.

Customer feedback
We guarantee that all our feedback is genuine and can only be submitted by people who have booked through our websites.
Mr Lee Beecham, March 2010: Staff on site were helpful, rooms were clean and tidy and breakfast was good, overall a good weekend...
Mrs M E DORMER, February 2010: A very satisfactory experience, and one we would be happy to repeat.
Our thanks to everyone involved, both on-line and at Becket court.
Myra Fowler, February 2010: Most interesting to be able to come and stop in a university during the Summer holiday. I did not realise it was possible to do this. Would definitely do it again.
Jillian Wilkinson, September 2009: I am very pleased to have stayed in the University of Kent - the accommodation was comfortable, with easy access to the town of Canterbury, and to Whitstable on the buses, leaving my car safely parked on site. Breakfast somewhat disappointing - maybe because the toaster was broken! Thank you very much.
